ABOUT US

Welcome to the Orange County Heritage Council (OCHC), a nonprofit organization dedicated to uplifting Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC) communities through cultural celebrations, resource distribution, and community empowerment. Our mission is rooted in honoring cultural heritage while providing essential support to those in need.

At OCHC, we believe that celebrating culture and giving back to the community go hand-in-hand. Through annual events like the Black History Parade & Unity Festival, Juneteenth Festival, and Martin Luther King Day, we bring people together to honor the legacies of those who paved the way for justice and equality. These events foster community pride, cultural education, and unity among all who attend.

In addition to our cultural events, OCHC is deeply committed to serving the community through resource distribution. We organize Turkey Giveaways during the holidays, provide meals for the homeless with our Feeding the Homeless initiative, and host special Mother's and Father's Day events to show appreciation for parents in our community. Our programs are designed to meet immediate needs while also strengthening the bonds of support within our neighborhoods.
